Praise The Lord and Pass The Ammunition

IT MAY BE TIME TO PRAISE THE LORD

(and pass the ammunition)

It seems that man has placed himself - in terrible position

He’s messed up everything he has – through insubordination

When God told Adam what not to eat - well he paid no attention

And that’s exactly why the world - is in such poor condition

It wasn’t all that long ago - our father’s formed a nation

That proudly boasts the Lord of Hosts - is our Rock of Salvation

For on no other bedrock - can there be a sure foundation

But there are those who I suppose - oppose this sacred station

Conveniently society - I hesitate to mention

Is filled with clowns who bring you down - by claiming you’re a victim

They’d strip your rights away - by Constitutional Convention

It seems that causing problems - is their only main ambition

Opposing views across the news – give every indication

That we have now agreed – to love our lower expectation

Of elected representatives – with illusions of division

Their lack of service has exposed – their disturbing disposition

A man or woman used to know - without interpretation

Which bathroom they could use - and still avoid a confrontation

Now they want your gender – undergoing transformation

Supposedly to give yourself - fulfilled emancipation

Funny how two sexes – now expand in duplication

We’re running out of ways – just to define the implication

We’ve used up half the alphabet – describing the distinction

But don’t leave town they’ll get around – to your indoctrination

We’ve run amuck and chased a buck – with cunning calculation

Through graft and fraud - we now applaud the overcompensation

While hungry homeless children - running rampant need protection

We’re mostly more concerned - about retiring with a pension

Blinded guides who’ve taken sides – with global organization

Are striving to facilitate – complete elimination

Of any reference to God’s name – and shun His observation

So sin we wallow in – will then avoid examination

The fear of fools say fossil fuels – have caused so much pollution

So charging you for climate change – is surely the solution

But we’ll just tax the middle class – and not the corporation

These promises of new green deals – are really just extortion

Man’s attempt to save the whale – in all the right proportions

Might be a worthy cause – if not for millions of abortions

That make it clear we have no fear – of God we’ve no devotion

It’s almost like we’ve swallowed – a mysterious deadly potion

So we sit in bars and dream of Mars - and deep space exploration

But man will not be taking sin - to any new location

Solution evolution - and it’s misguided education

Has led us even further - into mental aggravation

No longer can the lofty mind - avoid this clear admission

That Bible prophecy - is finally coming to fruition

If you have doubt what it’s about - then here’s a declaration

People doing what they please - no shame or inhibition

The human mind will never find - the comfort it’s envisioned

Without the realization - it’s a personal decision

To give your life to Jesus Christ – Who provided your redemption

The thing to do is give that thought - some serious meditation

Now man’s abuse has no excuse – and leads to his damnation

His words produce so much refuse – it wreaks of his delusion

We look around and wonder now - why all of the confusion

It’s just a sign of latter times - a final indication

Descriptions of prescriptions – that have failed to solve the tension

While harder drugs and alcohol - won’t lead to suicide prevention

Philosophy can only bring at best - an empty motivation

And the trumpet sound eliminates - all time for a decision

We pin our hopes on horoscopes – and silly superstition

Ignoring what the Bible says – about such false prediction

When we can know the future – just by reading Revelation

So we don’t wind up going – through the final tribulation

The God of love sent from above - His open invitation

That causes one to ponder - this abundant impartation

Would anyone in their right mind - not want a reservation

To come and be a part - of His Great Wedding Celebration

The moral of this story is - we need a course correction

That leads our hearts to make a start – back in the right direction

Agreeing with Almighty God – in complete cooperation

Of calling upon Jesus – and receiving His Salvation

Our country once was founded - on the Bible’s exhortation

Delivering the good news to the world – was His expectation

If we’re no longer planning - to fulfill this Great Commission

Then it may be time to praise the Lord -and pass the ammunition

Yes it may all be coming down – to a final altercation

And it may be time to praise the Lord -and pass the ammunition
