2020 MEANS HEALTH & PLENTY

There’s nobody anywhere that hates cute quips and buzz terms anymore than I do. I really just despise that kind of stuff. That’s why I was surprised when I was awakened at exactly 4:44 am this morning (New Year's Eve) with this special term on my lips. I’m generally not someone who comes up with stuff like this so I was somewhat surprised.
Now, in times past, I have heard a lot of terms that people have said over the years. Believers, especially the word of faith, charismatic believers, seem to say things that get them called names like “name it and claim it.” I might as well admit that I’m one of them, because I’ve been known to make declarations directly to God out loud where people can hear me. I do that because years ago I found out that in his word, he said you could decide and decree something just like a king would make a command or give an order. God said in his word that man could do that.
So, I’ve been called a “name it and claim it” in the past, but I usually just went ahead and told them I’m not just a “name it and claim it, I’m a name it and claim it, hope it and rope it, and hang it and frame it, and all that other stuff too. I don’t really care if you make fun of me or not, because God has been answering my prayers for a long time. Too late to doubt now.
All that to say, the term that came to me this morning to share with you was, “2020 means health and plenty” for many, many, many people. In fact, for whosoever will. And what are you basing that on Marty? Well I’m basing it on any two Scriptures used together. One that we'll call an anchor Scripture, such as Malachi 3:6, I am the Lord I change not. Another might be Hebrews 13:8, that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. One or both of these scriptures, along with any other Scripture that you can find in the Bible where it talks about the things that God will do or has done for anybody.
Plus, God also said that He is no respecter of persons. Peter, after seeing Gentiles, non-Jews, receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost said, “I perceive and recognize this fact, that God is no respecter of persons." So, anything He has done for one person He will do for someone else in the same or similar circumstances.
On any page in the Bible you can see that God is a giver. A giver of life, a giver of health, a giver of peace, a giver of safety, a giver of provision, a giver of good things. You won’t find any page in the Bible where God is not giving somebody something good. So I’m going to give you this Scripture, “I am God and I change not” and make that my anchor Scripture.
So what do we end up with and what do we have? Well, using my anchor scripture, I should be able to add any other single scripture, just one, from anywhere in the bible, and then ask God for it and expect to receive it if I ask in faith and don’t waiver. Now I can put more scriptures in there if I want to, but I really only need one.
So, I can say that "the Lord God is my healer" and add that to “and God changes not”, or I can say "my God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus" and "He is God and He changes not." You may say that well He won’t do it for you Marty in this situation this time. Well I'll just tell you that "God is no respecter of persons."
So, I should be able to take my anchor Scripture or Scriptures, and add any other Scripture in the bible and make this work for me. So, if I’m having trouble in my mind, I should be able to say, “Jesus said I could have His peace, not like the peace that the world gives, but His peace, the very peace that passes all understanding.” Well why do you say that? Because “God changes not” and because “He’s no respecter of persons.” I should be able to take any Scripture in the Bible, for any issue that exists, connect it to an anchor Scripture, and get whatever victory that I need in any area of life whenever I need it.
So I'm sharing the term that He gave me with you. I believe God wanted me to share it with you. It wouldn’t hurt you to say it over yourself for a few days. I say unto you “thus saith the Lord, 2020 means health and plenty for you.” And that’s for any whosoever will who will receive it.
So that’s my New Year’s Message for you, January 1, 2020. Again, “thus saith the Lord 2020 means health and plenty for you”, in the name of Jesus.
