Not believing it won't make it go away!

When the church (believers) begin to deliver the goods, then the people will come running to receive it. ​People are hurting. If you can’t deliver the Good News, then don’t expect a big crowd. ​Jesus said that "these" signs would follow believers. He said they "the believer" would cast out devils. He said they "the believer" would speak with new tongues. He said that they "the believer" would lay their hands upon those that were sick and the sick would recover from their illnesses. ​It doesn't say that only the preacher or the current popular crusade leader would do it. It said the "believer" would do it . . .

Hey don’t take it out on me, I’m just telling you what the instruction manual says...

Mark 16: 17-18

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

The the Word validates this statement in the next two scriptures:

Mark 16: 19-20

So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following.

I'll admit that I didn't like it any more when I read it than than you did. Lord, do you mean that I've got to be willing to be one of those fanatical believers who people make jokes about? One of those that others may distance themselves from and no longer associate with? Won't my friends and family think I'm crazy? Don't I stand to lose something or someone along the way?

The uncomfortable but true answer is folks . . . yes, all of what I've just described could happen when you begin to pray for the sick as the Bible instructs. The devil doesn't like it and he's going to try and make sure that some people you know aren't going to like it much either.

All I can tell you my friends is this about my own life. The benefits that I have received from doing what God instructs, are far more valuable than anything or anyone that I have lost because of it. It's really very simple when you think about it.

God wants sick people healed. He wants is so much that He'll try to get it done in any way He can, even if He doesn't get a shred of credit for it, He just like people well. He isn't causing sickness, He is causing healing to come forth if He can get people to listen.

Yes, God wants sick people healed. And He wants to use you to do it!
